Thanks for the positive feedback. My little discovery in working on this page was the Fairbanks News-Miner archive. It seems that, back in the day, the News-Miner really was all about news for miners, and it covered mining statewide. So if you're ever curious about some old mining remains somewhere, that's a good place to start looking for info.
Thanks for the posting. It is very helpful. You make the itinerary (north ridge) very clear. It is a very simple itinerary although the standard Chugach State Park book makes it awfully complicated (and unclear and wrong). I found that the way from the Saddle to the Pass was the only place not totally easy to find.
