I simply have to congratulate you for making the right decision when you turned back. You're right, health and life come before any possible summit. Have a good recovery, follow every medical advice you get and start dreaming of next year climbs.

Thanks for your wishes! Just started to make plans for next year! At end of January I can make all sports and training again! So everything seems to be as good as before this incident! Can´t wait for the summits in 2008!!!

As Ed always says "getting to the top is optional, getting down is manditory". I'm glad you made the right choice. Sometimes it takes more courage to not summit than it does to summit.
Thanks for your kind words. Since 2 weeks I started climbing and jogging again. Just making plans for this year! So I´m glad that I´m ok again and that I can enjoy the mountains again this season. If I would have to tried to reach the summit maybe I never could climb another summit again. The mountains can wait, so we should always listen to our body and mind. Cheers Thomas
