On the ridge

... to the Bockhartsharte. We're not far from the Niedersachenhaus, heading north along the Senator-Beindorf-Weg. We hiked to the ridge from the Rauris valley, over the snow covered western slopes. However, the morning sun has already melted a lot of the snow on the eastern facing slopes, on the right side of the ridge. Later in the day, most of the snow in the Rauris valley would be gone too. 28 August 2011.
