Thanks. It was just a persistent thin veil hanging on the summit, not a big deal.

The previous day we did the hard work, getting to the saddle northeast of the top, and visibility was excellent the whole time. That was most useful, to say the least, given that we were ascending by a route that isn't used much so there was no trail.
After descending just a few minutes from the summit we got clear views again as well.
