awesome!

Didja like it? What was your favorite long Dolomites climb? I haven't met anyone else who did this one. I thought the most exciting parts were getting onto the wall of the "little amphitheater" and then the long traverse after that.

I had a blast on this one. It was 1 long day in boots, but the views & the position on the wall were fantastic. This one would appeal to those inclined towards obscure classics. It looks like we share a penchant for those-thanks for the MT. Redoubt page, that's an obscure classic for sure! I think the best route we did in the Dolomites was the Via del Drago near the Lagazoui(sp?).

Nice, hopefully I can get to that one this summer. Yep, obscure classics are exactly where it's at! Check out the Crozzon di Brenta when you get back to the Dolomites - that is what I'm dreaming about this summer (30 pitches - huge :p).
