Open Door Pinnacle

Seen from Granite Creek. This limestone formation, also known as Chimney Rock, gets its name from the "open door" so clearly visible on it. Open Door Mountain gets its name from this feature as well since the pillar is on its west side. I have read of a 5.5 route and a 5.7 one on the pillar. Gros Ventre Range, Wyoming-- July 2014
