Opening at Milemarker 76, Utah

Called the loneliest highway, US 6-50 is about 95 miles between Delta, Utah and Baker, Nevada. Geologists and mountain climbers are interested, and others not as much. The dirt road is in good shape since lack of erosion in desert. Swasey peak directly in center here, about 40 miles away.
