Re: awesome!They are incredible fishers, and so fun to watch in action. This momma was watching over a nest of at least 3 little ones. I didn't get a good shot of them. I took this shot from a rocking boat. The nest was built on a very tall rock sticking up out of the water.

Re: awesome!saw the usa symbol just outside calgary bragg creek heading for little prairie mtn.,in the trees 45 kms. from here,the gorgeous bald eagle .unlikely to see these big birds there this early but it's very warm this winter here!!! wasn't able to get any pic.'s,oy.

Re: awesome!We don't have very many bald eagles around here. There are a few places they hang out near the rivers. I have lived in the mountains here for 6 years and just saw my 2nd golden eagle in the area a couple of weeks ago. I pulled over and took some pics of it sitting on a fencepost. I have not downloaded the pics off my camera yet though.
We had some very warm summery weather in January and February, but now winter is getting it's revenge. We haven't had too much snow dump on us, but the temp has dropped.
