Voted 5/5

After being a fan of a lot of Black Diamond gear, I was pretty excited to hear about their new "apparel" lineup. I ended up with the Crag Jacket, as well as a few other items. The jacket has a decent athletic fit to it, though it is comfortable enough to be worn casually as well. The polartec material used repels water though it is not waterproof. You will get soaked in a substantial storm. The material breathes fairly well. A really cool feature I like with this item is the cuffs, large enough to fit a larger watch on your wrist and not be too tight... on of my main gripes with other soft shells.

One thing that would really make this jacket even better would be pit zip ventilation, and two vertical chest pockets.
