Panorama from the Weißmaurachjoch (2953m)

Spanning 150° from north to southeast. The double pronged peak on the left is the Weißmaurachkogel (3096m). Right next to it, is the Silberschneid (3341m), with the barely noticeable Ampferkogel (3183m) in front of it. The highest peak in the area, the Hohe Geige (3393m), is not visible at all, but is just behind it. The white expanse is where I'm headed. Although the snow as well as the shape of the valley suggests otherwise, it's not a glacier. The snow is just left over from spring and will soon melt away. 30 June 2012.
