Panoramic view down the Lafaistal

I'm approaching the Ginggljoch saddle at the end of the Lafaistal, a short valley in the Texel Group. Normally it should be only a short hike up from here, but it's slow going today, for there is still a lot of snow, and in some places it's pretty soft at that. But the hard exercise gives me the excuse to stop a lot and take pictures of the beautiful scenery around me. Here I'm looking back down where I came from, and beyond. On the left is Roteck (3337m), the highest mountain in the Texelgroup. The normal route up to the summit is by the ridge coming from the right. Right of center, the two main grey peaks are Hohe Weiße (3278m) and Lodner (3228m). Following the ridge further, the Lazinser Rötelspize (3037m) is right at the edge of the panorama. Finally, in the center, is the highest peak in this panorama, Hochwilde (3482m). But that's not in the Texel Group anymore but part of the main ridge of the Alps. 16 July 2013.
