Panoramic view from the Britanniahütte

Yesterday we had climbed Strahlhorn. It was a long day, so instead of descending down to the valley, we ended where we had started, at the Britanniahütte. Therefore, today all we had to do was to descend a bit, so we took all the time in the world before getting started. Even before sunrise we started taking pictures, and we took a whole lot more as the sun rose higher. This view serves to illustrates the majestic location of the Britanniahütte. Even if you don't climb any of these mountains, it's a great place to visit. 8 September 2014.
