Fabulous job, Morgan!Excellent. BTW-don't you mean "southern end" of the West Fork of the Cimarron. Are you adding a new route to the mountain as well?

Re: Fabulous job, Morgan!Hey, thanks for the correction. For some reason, I have trouble thinking that the mountains are in the south and rivers run north.
I wasn't planning to add a new route, but I would be happy to write up a summary of the approach to the SE ridge route from West Fork Cimarron TH. On climb day, we were actually approaching from the east.
I thought the views of Wetterhorn from Wetterhorn Basin were stunning at times. It sounded like a cool peak from the description, but after taking in this view, I knew I had to climb it!

Re: Fabulous job, Morgan!I'll be reading the TR shortly. If you have any pics looking down Wetterhorn basin or the west end of Wetterhorn's west ridge, I'd be interested in seeing them. Not looking for "pretty" I want to traverse oput to the west end of the ridge, and advanced info would help plan. Also views of the 12,148' rock fin west of Wetterhorn Basin or down into Cow Creek Basin would be appreciated.

Re: Fabulous job, Morgan!Jeffers,
Didn't see an e-mail for you.
Basically all the photos I have are here:

I wanted to fish Cow Creek, but did not get around to it.
Seems like a great adventure.
Here's a photo looking west from Wetterhorn Basin with your rock fin:

Hope this helps,
Morgan
