Parker Pass Creek Panorama

Parker Pass Creek Panorama

From Kuna Crest North visitors can see much of Yosemite’s high country along the park’s eastern boundary, from Mount Conness in the north to Kuna Peak in the South. The two dominant peaks in the center are Mount Dana on the left (Yosemite’s second highest) and Mount Gibbs on the right (the sixth highest). Mount Warren is in background in the shade to the left of Mount Dana. Two of Yosemite’s highest passes mark the beginning of Parker Pass Creek. The deep pass to the right of Mount Gibbs is Mono Pass (Yosemite’s fourth highest trail pass), followed by Mount Lewis and then Parker Pass (Yosemite’s highest trail pass). Kuna Peak is at the far right and is Yosemite’s third highest summit. July 2010

Re: Fine pano!

Thanks very much Noondueler. And a fine page you have created for Tioga Pass as well. The area deserves its own page.
