Peace Like a River

Peace Like a River

"Take me, river, carry me far .. Lead me, river, like a MOTHER .. Take me over to some other unknown, Pull me in the undertow ..." The Colorado River begins its journey to the depths of AZ's Grand Canyon beneath Marble Canyon's Navajo Bridge, as the Echo Cliffs look on in the distance, with an unearthly glowing admiration .. The air temperature was 100-degrees when I took this picture. "Mother, did it need to be so high ?" July 30, 2011

Well done

Great photo lcarreau. I enjoy seeing a few canyons mixed in with all the mountains here on SP. Something I don't get a chance to do quite often enough. And a nice POTD as well!

Re: Reminds me

YOU are due for another trip out here, my
friend !!!

If you ARRIVE at the right time, the lighting
will smile upon you and you won't have to
endure so much sunshine.

I got too much sunshine on my vacation.
