We basically tried to stick with the steepest part of the face.
We stayed right of the big chimney thing on the very lefthand edge in this picture. It was really wet when we did the route (raining on us on and off all day) so the climbing is probably a bit easier when it's dry. The face looks really steep from this angle, but it's actually not particularly steep.
