Peekaboo LoopOne day in 2005. From Bryce Point. Much less peopled than the other routes I've traveled in the park, this day anyway. Just a magical place, unlike any other.

Stay on Your Own 2 Legs for This HikeMy best friend Al and I did Peekaboo loop and witnessed a horse in a riding tour poise on the rim of a switchback cliff edge, deciding whether to plunge over the edge with a petrified tourist atop it. After about ninety seconds the wrangler barely coaxed the horse to turn away (whispering as he passed us that he had never had such a close call). Stay on your own two legs for this one.
