A couple of lookouts along the way - outcrops - other than that a typical, lovely walk through the Catskill woods. Added bonus is a crossing of the Neversink River - via bridge. The Neversink is arguably the birthplace of American Fly Fishing

Snowy Fall Hike
Great hike on a cold snowy October day. Aside from the end, this isn't a very steep hike.

Table and Peekamoose
Some of the nicest views in the Catskills from Peekamoose summit. I was pressed for time and rushed a bit, round trip in 4hrs with a couple breaks at the viewpoints. Table Mountain left much to be desired but the hike across the saddle and up Peekamoose made everything worthwhile. A nice, easy hike for anyone interested.

quiet trail
The trail was surprisingly dry considering the day before was a deluge of rain. It only took an hour and fifty minutes to the top and an additional twenty to hop over to Tabletop. One of the best swimming holes in the USA is right near the trailhead (Blue Hole).

Peekamoose
Climbed with Table via the trail from County Road 42. A fun hike. Not much in the way of views. You have to go over to Table for those.

4 Peak Loop
Hiked in from Denning TH to Table/Peekamoose. Great views on Peekamoose ledge. Bushwacked over to Lone/Rocky and down to the Neversink River. Great weather and views.
Great hike with my dog. Not many views but the forest was beautiful!

With Table
Five or so hours to climb both. Enjoyable with nice views just before the Peekamoose summit. Turned around before the lean-to.
Started at Peekamoose Rd. trailhead.

Bushwhack Range Dayhike
This was a fun one to do in the winter. A group of us dayhiked the "Bushwhack Range" with a car drop, hitting eight peaks: Peekamoose, Table, Lone, Rocky, Balsam Cap, Friday, Cornell and Wittenberg.

From Denningwith Table. Made an "exploratory" trip down towards Lone, but the ridge was too snowy and the time too late. Stayed at the Table Mountain lean-to.
