Pelkhu Tso lake (4580m) and Chalung Ri (6767m)
Pelkhu Tso is a large salt lake located north of
Sisha Pangma (8027m) and
Gang Benchen (7299m). It drains the glaciers of the northern Langtang Himal located on the Tibetan side of the Himalaya, including the massif around
Chalung Ri, an unclimbed 6767m high peak, which can be seen in the centre-left of the picture.
