Per Year Comparison of U.S. State Highpoints vs Effort

A per year comparison of U.S state highpoints counts (in blue) to effort (in red). Just cause you do a lot of HPs in one year doesn't mean you have done most of the job. Ignoring zero years, and comparing years when I did more that one highpoint my third smallest effort year was 2020 yet it is my highest count year. In contrast my largest effort year tied as my second lowest count year with 2 HPs. To learn more about EFFORT, see https://www.summitpost.org/the-effort-scale-of-highpointing-the-fifty-us-states/1046476

The most highpoints I reached in one calendar year was 18. The longest time span between highpointing trips was 4 years, 2 months, 27 days. 33 of the 50 completed I did solo, and all 50 were obtained on the first try.
