What is your final plan? Im looking for partners to do something in the 7000+ range. Mt lenin or comm sounds great,

I live in phoenix, i speak Farsi and some Turkish and ca get around these areas fine.

Im doing these to see how id cope with altitude, hoping to do the N col. Of everest next year...

I know this post is a few years later, but I thought I would share my post of my Mt Kun attempt here. Mt Kun is 7077m. I found it technically easy, our main issue was weather plus the physical condition of some members of the party at summit time. I have a video and blog here

Can you please give some more information on what was provided in the package by your outfitter (agency). Transportation, guide, porters and base camp services are a given, I assume. But what about the services above base camp? Are there any meals, melting ice for water and drinks? Who is making those typically?

Have you ever explored the possibility of Cho Oyu? All reports are that it is technically quite easy and the weather is relatively more stable than other 8000M peaks. Perhaps still worth considering if you haven't already.
