Add some new flavour from a SA perspective

by Debtled » Fri Nov 24, 2023 7:50 am

Good day fellow mountaineers.

I searched but seemed not to find a greetings/introductions page on this forum, so i am posting here, if i am wrong, please show me the error of my ways.

I see there does not seem to be much on this forum from Southern Africa. I hope I can start to add some new flavour from a SA perspective. Looking forward to getting to know this forum better.

Most of my mountaneering experience is from the Drakensberg and Maluti mountians, and although not particulary high (Topping out just over 3000masl), they are tough mountains, and great to climb, as well as in the Cederberg mountains in the Western Cape.

I am more into trekking and expedition hiking then outright climbing, but I do have some technical climbing experience and gear.

till later - Taun
