beginer climbing shoes for buoldering

recently i have gone to climbing gyms, rented shoes, and climbed there. however i would like to get my own pair. i would be climbing on mediumish dificulty like 5.8-5.11 yds
Any suggestions? brands? styles? prices? thx. 8)

Get ones that fit. Don't buy too small. They should be a bit uncomfortable, but not painful. Get something flat, not arched for your first pair.
Don't spend a ton of money. Under $70, if you like it you'll soon be buying another pair and will know more about what you like. I like laces, but other people like velcro. Velcro is easy to get on and off, but doesn't do as well in cracks. For gyms and face climbs, velcro is fine.
Leather will stretch, synthetic won't.
