The Minarets belong in that list. The Southeast Face of Clyde Minaret is a superb climb in a fantastic setting and one of the finest California routes discussed in Steve Roper & Allen Steck's "Fifty Classic Climbs of North America ".

Old Skool 5.9 Trad on some pretty shitty and inconsistent rock, is not Class 3-4....Let's not kill the dude now.

Amen. Done that route. Not appropriate even for the fledging 5.9 climber, let alone someone looking for some tame class 3. Beautiful area though.

Yep, beautiful country in there . . . Climbed Ritter from the saddle/ north side gully way back when I worked for the Forest Service for a couple of summers. Great, what, class 3 route up that gulley.
Hoping to take my son up there this summer, as well as a few other peaks mentioned in this great thread!
