Don´t worry Dan I always qualify it with "that´s if it´s not pissing down". That usually puts em off. :D

i was first introduced to hill walking in snowdonia, in may 2002. beautiful countryside, was greeted with hail and rain on my way up mt snowdonia and had to turn back at the area overlooking the huge cliff just before the summit. that's when i said to myself that one day i would return and do some scrambling there. or may be winter climb in scotland.
