Hello,

Any need for a helmet on this route? I've never worn one on a class-3, but there are some photos of this chute that make it look pretty steep, to the point where rockfall from above could be an issue. Is it really that steep or are people manipulating their camera angles to make it look that way?

It's anywhere from Class 2 to Class 5 depending on how high up the left or right walls you climb (I like the left wall). Helmets are ALWAYS a good idea in a chute, although I sometimes "forget" mine. If you're solo, I wouldn't bother...but then again, who will know you're laid out with a hole in your head?
