Thought I would share this here as well, how many can you name in Colorado's Highest 100?

Only 26, I guess. Plus one unranked one.

Before the quiz, I figured I could have named 50 or so. I haven't visited CO for 3 years, and I forgot more than I thought. Only got 4 of the century 13ers, and had a brain fart on the Sawatch Range and completely forgot about the Sangre de Cristos.

Neat game.

Hmmm...wasn't it during the 2008 SP CO Gathering in the San Juans that I expressed that this is a sport for dweebs, geeks, nerds, those with severe OCD and the like?

...everyone vehemently denied my assertion, but now I think our good man Chicago "anything less than 6 peaks in a day is a waste" Mike has proved my point.

 (Just bustin' your chops, Chicago...)

Glad you are all enjoying the quiz, I figured 10 minutes should be plenty of time, and that the elevations would be a nice "hint". Its definitely tough to name them all off the top of your head, especially depending on how many of them you have climbed. The results are kind of telling, most people seem to get the popular 14ers but some of the 13ers slip their minds.

And you are correct Sarah! I am one of the biggest mountain dweebs out there, so I figured I would give my fellow dweebs something to do to revel in their dweebiness

Geez, shame on me:

You got 41 out of 100 Highest 100 Peaks in Colorado.

I hang my head in shame...

Ok, 52 on my second try...I still hang my head in shame. I'll pay my penance this weekend in the mountains, I'm sure...

Good game, Chicago, thanks for posting!

That was really f'ing sad. I only named 36, so I could not remember 21 mountains that I have climbed. Actually, it may have been more, but on looking through the list, there were mountains that even upon reading the name, I could not remember if I had climbed or not, so I decided to just say I had not.
