Sometime around the the first of the year 2020, the account login workflow begin initiating endless loops, at least in Google Chrome.

As a starting point, I believe the endless login loop is somehow related to the Google Chrome password manager or the LastPass extension for Google Chrome. Having enable/disabled/deactivate both features as allowed, I'm not able to isolate the issue to one, the other, or any combination thereof with my meager skills.

Incognito made may, or may not, fix the login loop. While not evidenced in my video since I was able to login with 3 attempts, Incognito is not a full solution.

The only way I'm able to login to my account, and the forums to post this message, is via Chrome Icognito.

Have you tried completely flushing browser cache?

To do so, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the Chrome browser window and then select "Settings."

On the left sidebar, find "Advanced" and click on it and then select "Privacy and Security" from the drop-down menu.

The check the box next to "Cached images and files" and click the "Clear data" button.

I'd also suggest removing all SummitPost.org cookies. Instructions to remove cookies from one particular site are here:

oh yeah, I did all that stuff (see more info via PM). Soft resets. Hard resets. CTRL-F5. Disconnecting AC power for > 30 seconds (that's a real thing). I even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall Chrome from scratch on 1 computer. No dice.
