I won't be there for a month, so it should have lots of time to melt out by then.

My money's on Stuart via Cascadian Couloir. That's basically a walk up with a little Class 3, plus it's on a south face.

Where en route can I find isobutane canisters? There must be someplace near the trailhead with a quick lunch and basic supplies, right?

There is an REI in Tacoma, off of I-5 which is on the way. The South Side of Mt Adams is pretty rural, not sure where one could get isobutane, but lunch and other stuff should be available in any of the small towns.

There is an REI at SouthCenter 3 miles east from the airport. Adams is a good climb and you are hitting the mountain perfectly!!!

I'm leaving Seattle early, so it looks like I'll have to hit REI in Portland. It's close to on the way anyway.

I'm getting pumped for Adams, it sounds like conditions are great. Seeing how weather holds and how good I feel, Glacier is high on my list. Maybe Hood too, while I'm down by Adams.

When are you gonna be down here and hitting Adams? May want to join you if the times are right and you don't mind a partner.

Actually, I'm really looking forward to the solo part. I've seen several posts here and on CC looking for partners for Adams/Hood/Rainier partners, so I bet you can find someone.

Yeah, no problem, just was wondering. I understand about wanting to go solo. I did Adams that way, and it was great. Have fun.
