Google Ads & pop-ups

by Kiefer » Sun Jul 24, 2022 2:21 am

I know this is a free site, and I love the fact that Matt and company offers this, ya gotta keep the "lights on" and all, but my questions are, why do these ads pop up in the middle of sections, almost haphazardly separating content? Why are they in the middle of the page AND along the sides? This makes it hard to formulate and put together a page without knowing how these ads mess everything up. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to their placement. :x

It's getting to the point where this website should change its name to Adpost. I'm not saying get rid of them, but c'mon, put them in places that make more sense to the overall mission of this website. Surly as coders, the elves can do this?

If not,
wasn't there a program one could download to hide ads? :?: I thought I remembered reading about that on here at one point.
