I wonder if any trucker pronounced it as just the acronym if he ever had to explain to his wife why he was late coming home because of stopping there.

Awesome! But what on earth were you doing in TX LOL

Driving between Guadalupe and Odessa, most likely. I lived in Odessa for five months in 2000. I am glad to live in Nevada now, but I do miss my time in West Texas, actually.

OK, I admit I had waay to much fun here making some pseudo-customized 'stickers'. Sadly the 'waterproofing' wasn't too durable, so I'll have to try something better quality next time! :-)

Ok, so I've heard that putting stickers on you helmet can weaken it.

Anybody know if there's any truth to this??

In 1978 I ordered some special resin from Israel, and the accompanying letter was from "Technion Institute of Technology", from Dr. Schmuckler.Never used this particular helmet, but it's ready.

That's awesome! And it matches your hat!

You're safe from wild predators now. . . . Just hope you don't find one that likes to eat giant frogs!

Here's a link to a photo I took of the TITS place near Odessa TX. It's a scan of a print so the resolution isn't that great:

I saw one I liked, even if it had some gallows humor. Guy had a sticker of a target on top of his bucket.

Sweet! It's been 8 years, but I remembered. TITS: one of the many good things about living in Odessa!

this is my favorite sticker of all time, at least for fellow dirtbags amongst us... I have never seen it on a helmet, some kid had one on a skateboard or cooler or something some years ago on lot, I have been looking for one ever since... no stickers on my helmet right now, but I use it more for boating than climbing, so I feel like they would just peel off in the water

My skiing helmet has a sticker from Fernie BC that proclaims: "I LIKE BIG DUMPS"

I used to paint lightning bolts on my helmet with acrylic paint:

My brother painted a demon-like face on his helmet, based on the character "Tim the Echanter" from Monty Python's Holy Grail:
