Sport/alpine, though I have climbed trad and am getting more and more into it. Problem is the gear is so bloody expensive and there's no decent trad areas near me!

climber in the broad sense. Sport, trad, alpine, ice.....as much active as my parentship let me

Maybe the elves could add a multi-selection drop-down list to the user profile UI to specify what outdoor activities people do (e.g. the plans & partners activities list). Would make it easier to pull this info with a DB query.

Mainly ice, ski-mountaineering and alpine stuffs up to AD/D...

In summertime I do bouldering, sport and short trads on rock but only because my friends force me too!! Never done big walls or +5 pitches.

Belay safely? Naaaaah...dont think so! 8)
