It all depends on you and your doctor, but I see no reason why not. I use diamox myself and find it indispensable. Many folks seem adverse to using diamox, I find that puzzling. Side effects are generally very slight (increased urine volume and tingling of the fingers) if any at all, but for those few folks that do not tolerate sulfer-based drugs, they will have to do without.
