Is it just my Llama ??

by rhyang » Wed Oct 27, 2010 5:42 am

I and a certain SP'er who shall only be known as "Vittles" (aka, "Mr. Annoying") were climbing at the gym this evening, and had an interesting discussion. Well, actually we mostly sprayed about our favorite internet summitpost cartoon characters while falling off various colored plastic holds. But that's neither here nor there.

Anyway, I think more people should post pictures of camelids, Llamas especially. Do you really want to be part of a site whose decline is caused mostly by a lack of llamas ? Aren't we tired of our community being compromised by a roving band of internet llama haters ?

And another thing -- real mountain people have sex with farm animals. That is how it was when I was growing up, and damn it you should too.

More later.

I've been having inappropriate fantasies about bison recently. Does that count as a farm animal? Does it have to be real sex?

Llama ends in "ma" -- we must explore the possibility that certain scoffers have a problem with their "ma" that skews their response to this plea for love. Embrace your "ma" (unless this violates certain deeply rooted laws of human conduct -- please refer to Tom Lehrer's "Oedipus Rex" for illumination). And then return to the trail.

"ma" means "horse" in Chinese, which starts to close the circle

Now, see, that's your problem right there.

Although, when I'm home over the holidays, maybe I should try that place in Belmont. I think I might miss it being the old cheapie theater, tho...

As for Bob-a-loo, he has a nickname (or probably four). Buffalo Bob gives a whole new spin on WWBBD...

Thank you, Rob, for bringing up this important topic.

Many people have still not voted on all the llama photos available here on Summitpost. For every llama photo you upvote, Yvon Chouinard will donate one Argentine peso to Lloving Llamas, Lltd., a charity dedicated to spreading the important message of llama llove.

Upvoting llama photos also helps your own SP Power Points! By increasing the Power Points of SP's Llama Llovers, you encourage Llama Llovers to upvote your own pages. These upvotes will raise your own PowerPoints (TM), increasing your REI discount. Just don't tell Chouinard about that last part.

Don't be a hater. Do the right thing for Llamas, and help yourself at the same time.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, as I was bouldering this afternoon - well, actually, I was sitting on my crash pad drinking a beer and talking about climbing - it all hit me like a load of bricks.

Do we really WANT SP to be a politically correct, Obama-influenced, llama-free zone full of people who hate animals and hate the people who love animals? Because that's what it's becoming! SP is going down, and fast at that. Never mind the fact that more people are joining and more pages going up... the llama persecution will destory this site. And soon! SOON I SAY! Something must be done!

Wanted to cast a vote on THIS, but couldn't find the pic until now.

Hey, at least it beats another mundane "bear-on-picnic-table" photo.
