Heading to the famous (infamous?) hot springs near Aspen next weekend. On the map, it seems feasible to continue over Copper Pass to East Maroon Creek Trail, then catch the shuttle bus back to Aspen. Has anyone done this? Had any luck hitching a ride back to the hot springs trailhead?

I was just up at the hot springs yesterday, and it was a great time.

Lots of folks milling about at the Conundrum Creek trailhead (even on a Monday), so I think you'd have an easy time getting a ride back to town. Enjoy!
