38 year old mountain guide Miguel Gamarra Maza died due to avalanche on Huantsán, Cordillera Blanca, at around 5000m, either on the 28th or 29th of this month.

Anyone keeping track of casualties on the CB this season? That's number 6 by my counting.

I can think of six, but it seems there would be more. 3 on Tocclaraju (1 skier, 2 Argentinians), 2 on Alpamayo, and this one.
