The only reason I'd even consider one is for credit to get certain things like renting a car. :wink: But even then I still don't want one. For now debit card works just fine. 8)

the point is to only use them for what you can afford to pay off at the end of the month. there are too many perks available to not use a credit card, provided you use it responsibly.

it is also extremely helpful in building your credit profile for when you want to buy things like cars and homes.
