I am new to the site tonight. I have climbed in the past but not like most of you guys and gals do I'm sure. I want to get some information from some of you. I found in a storage locker a Mt Bachelor summit log book. It says Donated by Post # 106 Explorers, Salem Oregon. It is full of peoples logs from Nov 6 1976 and the last entry is from June 20 1980. There is even one that mentions Mt St Helen's May 18 1980 but doesn't say it was Helen's, just a loud sonic boom. It is very cool! What I wanted to know is if any of you might make some suggestions as to where to donate this collectors item like, say a museum or post 106 (which I can't find any listing for any where). I sent an email to Mt Bachelor and never got a response. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I tried to load up a pic but it wouldn't let me.
