For those who love Sigur Ros, there is an Nord Americam tour of Jonsi, lead singer Sigur Ros. More details here: http://jonsi.com/concerts

See you there.

A little late to the thread, but glad to be here. I have some new music to check out now.

I am a little surprised I haven't heard Angels and Airwaves or Band of Horses yet. Those two are instrumental to my trips. I love a wide variety of music, but there are a few staples to my auditory diet.

As soon as the tires leave the pavement, Brad Paisly sings Mud on the Tires. This is non negotiable.

When I tag the summit, Angels and Airwaves plays "Heaven." This again is non negotiable

The rest of the music depends on the type of travel. If I am going solo, Michael W Smith is usually in with nearly anything off the New Hallelujia album. If I have my tunes on for a long snowy slog, Band of Horses is a fav. Someone mentioned U2, I am certainly going to have to break them out again. It's been so long I forgot. I have a lot of Collective Soul, Everclear and so on.

Apparently I am going to have to look into Sigur Ros.

No problem. I kept that vid pretty tight for a while as it is pretty personal.

I find that almost everything on the Angels and Airwaves albums really helps keep me motivated while climbing. It's good tent music too.
