Seems like my fellow countryman Fredrik "Frippe" Eriksson was killed in a fall on K2 this morning. He climbed together with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner who attempts to be the first woman on all 14 8000s without suplementary oxygen. Fredrik have skied down four 8000 meter mountains before, last year he abandoned on K2 after his climbing partner Michel Fait took a fatal fall.
