NG Young Explorers Series at CU-Boulder

by Haliku » Thu Oct 28, 2010 2:59 pm

National Geographic presents at the University of Colorado--Boulder:
AN EVENING OF FIELD RESEARCH AND EXPLORATION 7pm Oct 29th and its Free.

It might sound boring from the title but if you know who Jimmy Chin is you know the pictures alone will be worth going!

Jimmy Chin recounts his 275-mile journey on foot through the remote Chang Tang to witness birth at the high-altitude calving grounds of the elusive Tibetan antelope.

James Balog reports on his Extreme Ice Survey—the most wide-ranging glacier study conducted using ground-based, real-time photography.

More information here. Cheers!
