Nives Meroi and Romano Benet have summited the top of the Annapurna at 10:30 (local time) on May 11 together with the Spanish Alberto Zerain and Jonatan Garcia. For the two Italian mountaineers which are roped also in life, it's their 14th Ottomila, all climbed in pair and in light style. Annapurna, the 10th mountain of the Earth 8,091 m, was the first of the 8,000 to be climbed (June 3, 1950, French expedition). See more info here: Planetmountain (in English)
