Patagonia Guide vs Marmot Scree vs MH Navigation Pants

by Cosmo1111 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:46 am

Ive narrowed down my choices for soft shell pants to those. Has anyone used any of them and could give their opinion or could recommend a good soft shell pant for alpine climbing (including Denali in the future).

I have the Marmot pants that have the re-inforced knees and butt. I like them. The Screes are nice, but they didn't fit me as well.

you may also want to check out the Mammut champ pants. I have had mine for some time and always use them in the cascades.

I have the MH Navigation pants and they are unreal in a VERY wide range of temps. Used them in humid 75F weather down to 10F and snowy weather and they performed great. Absolutely worry free. Still look like new too. They are my go to pant.
