Rotate image function

Could a "rotate image" function be added to the image editor? and/or could you get a preview before image is actually added so you could make sure it had the right orientation?

Yes, I need to do this. I've noticed a lot of rotated images. It will require a small amount of coding on my part, but it is doable. Problem for me is that I'm very short on time right now. I might be able to squeeze such a project in sometime in the next month, but I've got a ton of stuff on my plate through July. I'll do my best to get it done as soon as I can though.

Hi,
Wondering if the rotate image function is still planned?
What's the easiest way to handle this right now?

There is probably a better way to do this, but in an image editor I first rotate the image correctly and then I crop a teeny bit from it and then I save it .

Yes, still planned. I hope to get to doing it very soon. For now, you'll need to rotate them off site before uploading.

Sorry for the delay deleting the images and pages. I have been offline the last few days.

Deletion will remain the same as it is now so that the site is more secure and we don't have any mass deletions from the site like we did before the change.

Changes are coming again for bulk image upload and to implement a new editor. After that, I'll work on a way to rotate images.
