Could Alex Honnold have climbed back down to escape?

Saw the movie, found it pretty interesting to think about it, investigated further and wrote an article!

Every interview I have seen with him, he has stated each route has a "point of no return". I'm very sure this climb was the same, in this case however it was being filmed, he obviously would have aid close by. Nice article as well!

After viewing the big-screen flick and discovering it had later won an academy award, I am impressed and humbly "take back"
what I had "prejudged" and stated in a previous post in a different forum.

The dude was deserving of a helicopter ride back down. Also, he must endure the price of fame, even though fame can be very fleeting in today's fast-moving and often corrupted Society.
