403 Forbidden

by nader » Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:31 pm

I access Summitpost at home and at work. 2 weeks ago while at work on Google Chrome, when trying to go to Summitpost I received an error message that said "403 Forbidden" and since then I have not been able to get into Summitpost at work using Google Chrome. Today the same thing happened at home. I can no longer access Summitpost through Google Chrome. I am writing this note using "Microsoft Edge". At work, using Microsoft Edge, I am unable to vote.

Need help. What is 403 Forbidden? How do I fix?

I have had that problem as well. I solved it by clearing the cache and cookies, and signing out and then back in.

Does this work?

Annoying for sure.

I had the same problem. First Google, then Google Chrome, Then I switched to Microsoft Edge and it worked but then it stopped (403 Forbidden), Then I went to Mozilla, same thing, now I'm on Opera and for the time being it works.

I've tried recreating this problem but can't seem to do it.

Whenever you all have this error again, please send me an email at matt@flytrapcare.com, and don't try using a different browser until we can set up a time where we're both online and I can try to debug with you in the browser where you're seeing the 403 errors. Thanks.
