Any fellow scots out there remember tv programme by Tom Weir one of Scotlands most loved mountaineers who sadly died today at the grand old age of 91

I recall as a child being aloud to stay up late 8pm to watch his TV Programe
"Weirs Way" about climbing in Scotland.

Tom Weir 1914-2006 :D

Wow. What a life he lived! I only hope I can live a mountaineering life, like this and be alive at that age to tell about it!

R.I.P Mr. Weir! What a mountaineer!

Ahhh Scotland...

Remember it well, but I was too young to appreciate it/watch it. He seems to have some life and lived to a ripe old age. RIP

He was a damn good "Scottish" type mountaineer... liked him a lot. Enjoyed reading East of Katmandu.
