Jotunheimen recommendation

by chris.mueller » Mon Jun 18, 2007 1:46 pm

I will go to Jotunheimen this summer again. Looking for some remote climbs, maybe in the Hurrungane area. My wife will join me, so the climbs should not be that hard (UIAA III).

Cheers

Chris

I am interested in exactly the same, will be there mid July to mid August.
2006 we had one great week in southeast Jotunheimen, then switched to
Hurrungane but were swept down by one week of constant rain ;-(
Would be nice to learn about some nice traverses there.
Peter.

Thanks for your Post Erik.

UIAA III means simple climbing, a little more than scramble. We will bring all the glacier and rock climbing stuff. So glacier travel should not be a problem.

Cheers

Chris
