You may also want to elaborate as the average trekker does not need harness, rope and helmet. Do you wish to attempt Mera Peak as well?

You can almost certainly buy/rent all equipment you need in Kathmandu. Many things are also available in Lukla, some also in Namche (but no guarantees). Buying/hiring in the latter two places saves on the weight of your luggage on the flight bw Kathmandu and Lukla.

I would bring my harness from home.
