Can anyone recommend a hostel (or similar cheap lodging) to stay one night in Zurich? Preferably this hostel would be near the main train station. I'd need to take a train from Zurich to Chamonix. Thanks.

Also hotels.com has some other recommendations. We have stayed at the IBIS hotel (cheap chain) in Oerlikon - added benefit is shopping at Bächli Bergsport! Bus line connects to Orlikon train/tram station - about 20 minutes from the main train station in Zürich and a free shuttle to the airport.
